ProCredit is not for everyone...

...it is for people of achievement, for determined “fighters”, who agree with our values and our code of ethics. We do not believe that employees should be based on a single standard profile. On the contrary, we welcome diversity in terms of background, experience, personality and field of study. Some of our colleagues, before coming to ProCredit, had never thought of working in a bank, but now they are very happy to be with us! Our selection process is very demanding, it is a transparent process that focuses on you and your values as an individual, and not on the connections you may have.

We work hard...

... to provide excellent and responsible services to our clients in a challenging environment and to improve our institution. Given our supportive organizational structure, this means taking on challenging tasks, new projects, and additional responsibilities that may go beyond the standard job description. In addition, this includes routine and redundant tasks, and sometimes additional time, for work or training.

Each of us contributes...

...directly to the success of the institution and together we see the results of our work. Our simple organizational structure and flat hierarchy assign each of us clear responsibilities, in order to work towards a common goal. This structure also provides the basis for a fair assessment of each employee, relying entirely on the performance and contribution he/she has made. Top-level management actively participates in the institutional assessment of employees and maintains constant contact with them to ensure that we always achieve better results. Success is recognized not only through monetary rewards, but more importantly, through opportunities for professional and personal development. Our salary structure is reasonable, transparent and is valid for all personnel everywhere in the group. We pay competitive fixed salaries. We do not reward our staff with bonuses that depend on the achievement of targets, because we do not want them to entice clients and make them make inappropriate financial decisions, just to meet certain targets. All salaries are kept within a reasonable range: in principle, the highest salaries are never higher than 10 times the lowest salary in the bank.

We are constantly improving...

...and strive to be one step ahead in the changing environments in which we operate. This is possible because each of us has the curiosity and the will to move forward. The ProCredit Group invests heavily in a wide range of training in order to strengthen our institution. Position-specific training and seminars on topics applicable to the entire group ensure that each member of staff has the right skills and competencies. To meet the demands of holding a senior executive accountable, our managers are required to participate in our Academies. Beyond the confines of conventional management training, our academies confront participants with fundamental philosophical, historical, and social questions. During their time at the academies, managers develop a strong sense of solidarity and common purpose, a feeling they share with others, with staff members, and with the institution as a whole. Our common identity and language are also fostered through comprehensive training in the humanities, ethics, English, and much, much more.
