In the framework of cooperation with the Albanian Development Guarantee Foundation (ADGF), ProCredit Bank offers financing opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through the European Union Guarantee Window, EU Window. 
The EU–KfW Guarantee Programme for the Western Balkans - Supporting the sustainability of MSMEs aims to improve access to financing for economically viable businesses, using a guarantee mechanism. In this way, more financing opportunities are created for businesses that want to invest, expand their activity or finance their working capital needs, even in cases where they do not have sufficient bank collateral.

Financing categories:

The program offers three financing categories, tailored to the profile and needs of the business.

1.    Regular Window
This category is aimed at consolidated businesses that wish to finance new investments, working capital or the further development of their activity.
Maximum financing amount: up to 500,000 EUR or the equivalent in ALL.

2.    Green Window
This category is aimed at businesses that plan green investments and projects that contribute to sustainable development.
Investments in:

• Energy efficiency;
• Renewable energy;
• Technology with lower environmental impact;
• More efficient equipment and processes;
• Projects that contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

Maximum amount of financing: up to 500,000 EUR or equivalent in ALL.

3.    Start-up Window
This category is designed for new businesses, registered for less than 24 months, which need financing for the start-up, consolidation or development of their activity.
Maximum amount of financing: up to 50,000 EUR or equivalent in ALL.

Who can benefit?

The program is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises registered and operating in Albania.
The business must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Operate in rural areas or in peripheral areas outside the central municipalities of Tirana and Durrës;
• Operate in the manufacturing sector, regardless of location;
• Be a new business, registered for less than 24 months (Start-Up).

In the case of businesses that are part of a group of companies, the financial criteria are assessed at the group level, in accordance with the terms of the program.

What you can finance:

The program includes:

• Investment loans;
• Working capital loans;
• Combined investment and working capital loans;
• Overdrafts.

Financing can be provided in the following currencies:

• ALL;
• EUR.
