ProCredit Bank Albania has been recertified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard by TÜV AUSTRIA

This year ProCredit Bank Albania has been certified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard. According to this international standard, TÜV AUSTRIA Albania has audited the Environmental Management System of ProCredit Bank.

What does this certification show?

ISO 14001:2015 is a standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and assesses a number of aspects of companies’ internal environmental management to implement an effective Environmental Management System (EMS), which plays a crucial role in how businesses manage and control their environmental impact. Therefore, this certification confirms that ProCredit Bank successfully implements an effective environmental management system in its structure and operations, with the aim of minimizing the environmental footprint of the activities and services it offers.

ProCredit Bank, since 2017, has been continuously certified according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard for all business units, demonstrating its sustainable commitment and successful implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in all its activities and operations.

Reducing environmental impact is an important and integral part of social responsibility, not only in the bank's own operations but also in those of its clients, while also contributing to raising awareness among employees and the public on environmental issues.

ProCredit Bank continuously implements sustainable measures on environmental issues. This is also evident in ProCredit Bank's goal of promoting ecologically sustainable economic development, by building a loan portfolio for financing energy efficiency, renewable energies and other environmentally friendly projects.
