People and Culture
In an environment of highly digitalized processes for standard banking operations, we believe our employees should be trusted advisors for more complex customer needs. That’s why we invest heavily in continuous learning and development.
We follow a transparent recruitment process and maintain a clear framework for salary structure and benefits. Our organizational structure is deliberately flat, making managers approachable and encouraging open dialogue. Respect, inclusion and equality are at the heart of our culture. We embrace diverse perspectives and encourage constructive discussions. Our Code of Conduct serves as a guiding principle for ethical behavior and is revised annually through training sessions focused on environmental and social responsibility.
Equality and Diversity (Gender Equality)
ProCredit Bank Albania is committed to creating a gender‑equal, diverse, and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected. Our approach is rooted in the principles of our Code of Conduct, ensuring fairness, transparency and equal treatment in all interactions, both internally and with our clients.
We aim for balanced gender representation at every level of the organization, and we provide equal opportunities for growth and career development regardless of gender. This commitment is reflected through:
Our focus on equality and inclusion is central to how we operate and essential to building a respectful, collaborative, and future‑oriented workplace.
ProCredit Bank demonstrates a strong and long‑term commitment to supporting women in business through its dedicated Preferential Financing Package for Women‑Managed Enterprises. This initiative addresses gender‑related barriers in access to finance by providing key financial advantages, including a 0.5% reduction in interest rates, a 0.5% reduction in disbursement commissions, and a 2% interest rate reduction for overdrafts offered to female employees.
Integrated into our SME processes and aligned with our Gender Strategy, the package boosts financial inclusion and improves the growth of women‑led MSMEs. Our minimal mid-term goal is in line with the group targets of reaching the share of business loans disbursed to women-owned companies to 17%.
Social Responsibility
Our impact goes beyond banking. When evaluating loans, we consider the social footprint of the businesses we finance. This includes assessing overall working conditions such as clean, well-lit workplaces, health and safety measures, as well as the company’s effect on surrounding communities, including noise, air quality and other environmental and social factors.
